About autistic children

If there are patients with autism at home, they should live in a well-ventilated place, and the indoor humidity and temperature should be kept in a balanced state. The house should not be too noisy, and you can communicate with them more. This will reduce the chances of them having language barriers. Even their social aspects should be guided. This is the best way to improve autism.

Children with autistic tendencies

Generally speaking, children with autism will have the following three basic characteristics before the age of three:

1. Social development:

Not interested in external things, not very aware of the existence of others;

Lack of eye contact with others and failure to actively interact, share or participate in activities;

In terms of group life, they have poor imitation ability, fail to master social skills, and lack cooperation;

They have weak imagination and rarely engage in symbolic play activities using toys.

(ii) Communication:

Delayed and impaired language development, abnormal speech content, speed, and tone;

Have varying degrees of difficulty with language comprehension and non-verbal communication;

May lack the ability to communicate verbally.

(III) Behavioral aspects:

In daily life, they stick to certain ways of doing things and routines, refuse to change habits and routines, and repeat certain actions over and over again;

They have narrow interests and may be extremely focused on certain objects, or have a special interest in certain parts of objects or objects of certain specific shapes.

In addition, children with autism may also have the following related characteristics:

1. Perception Mode:

Restlessness or intense reactions to certain sounds, colors, foods, or lights;

Poor response to cold, heat, and pain, resulting in a lack of awareness and appropriate response to dangerous behaviors;

They will constantly turn their bodies or explore objects in unusual ways, immersing themselves in some kind of sensory stimulation.

(II) Development:

About 30 percent have normal intellectual development, and 70 percent have intellectual retardation or an IQ of 70 or below;

The development of abilities in various aspects is uneven, and the development process is different from that of normal children.

(III) Emotional and behavioral aspects:

Due to communication difficulties and the inability to adapt to changes, they are more likely to be stimulated by emotional or environmental factors and exhibit impulsive or harmful behaviors.
