What causes autism in children?

When a child develops autism, we must pay attention to analyzing and understanding the cause. The most common one is genetic factors, because many children are related to genetic factors. There are also family factors, such as the family's education level or the parents' attitude towards their children.

1. Genetic factors: Some children are related to genetic factors. The role of genetic factors in autism has become clear. 2%-6% of the siblings of children with this disease suffer from this disease, and the concordance rate of monozygotic twins is as high as 36%.

2. Family factors: The parents are professional technicians, highly educated and relatively intelligent, but they are rigid in their work and have a tendency to coerce their children. They are cold and stubborn towards their children, and the family lacks warmth.

3. Organic brain damage: such as birth trauma, intrauterine asphyxia, infection, poisoning, etc. 15%-50% of children have epileptic seizures, abnormal EEG, and non-specific changes in brain CT and MRI. Some are accompanied by neurological signs, body deformities, etc. Congenital rubella virus infection and cytomegalovirus infection may be related to the onset of autism.

Environmental factors: Lack of rich and appropriate stimulation in the early living environment, and failure to teach social behavior. Or children who are in a monotonous environment for a long time will use repetitive actions to stimulate themselves and will not be interested in the external environment.

4. Notes

The onset of autism may show some signs at a very young age, and I hope parents will pay attention to it. Therefore, parents are advised to pay special attention to whether their children have any symptoms related to autism before the age of two. After all, the incidence of autism is now as high as one in 150. That’s all I have to say about the causes of autism. I hope it can help parents and friends.
