What to do if your child has allergies

What to do if your child has allergies

Parents are naturally worried about their children's skin allergies. If they want to effectively improve and solve the problem, they should also pay attention to scientific methods. Parents should take their children to see a specialist, and pay attention to care in daily life and give their children more vitamins.

1. Take your child to see an allergy specialist at least once (some hospitals have allergy or asthma specialists): the examination by a specialist is very meaningful for a clear diagnosis. Parents should pay attention to the timing of the visit.

2. Parents should carefully observe each time their children have an attack : it is best to keep detailed records, which will help you find the cause (allergen).

3. Do not change doctors frequently: Please choose a relatively fixed doctor for your child, show the doctor your child’s medical records, and let him be as familiar with the child’s condition as possible, including genetics and family situation, so as to make the diagnosis as accurate as possible and have more long-term considerations for treatment.

4. Pay attention to diet and nutrition : Avoid foods that you are clearly allergic to, and don't be too strict with other foods to ensure balanced nutrition. There is no need to pursue so-called functional foods. You can take regular vitamin supplements, mainly vitamin C and vitamin A.

5. Perform physical exercise gradually, especially cold-resistance exercise: If symptoms have been aggravated or induced by exercise, use appropriate medications under the guidance of a doctor to control the symptoms and then exercise. Swimming is a good exercise, but avoid indoor swimming pools filled with chlorine.

6. Do not use medicines (health products) indiscriminately on your own: Current medical advertisements are very confusing, and all kinds of fake, counterfeit and inferior medicines are flooding the market. Improper choices will bring adverse consequences to children's health.
