How to prevent children from getting body odor? These knowledge points must be remembered!

No matter who you are, once body odor occurs, it is difficult to completely cure it, so preventive measures should be taken in daily life. In particular, parents should teach their children the corresponding prevention methods and let their children develop good living habits.

1. One of the reasons why children have body odor is heredity. If both parents or one of them has body odor, it is easy to pass it on to their children. Medical research shows that if both parents have body odor, there is an 80% chance that the disease will be passed on to the child. If one parent has body odor, the chance is about 50%, and the chance that the mother will pass the disease on to the child is even greater. Of course, there is no pattern as to which baby the gene will be passed on to.

2. With the onset of puberty, girls usually experience body odor at the age of 11 or 12, while boys experience it later at the age of 13 or 14. Affected by endocrine system, body odor appears and gradually worsens, affecting physical and mental health, study and life, so early intervention is necessary.

3. At the same time, attention must be paid to local hygiene. It is necessary to keep it clean and dry.

4. Provide more nutritious, easily digestible, non-greasy and non-irritating food.

5. Pay attention to cultivating their self-confidence and eliminating nervousness.

6. If you find that your child has severe body odor, surgical treatment is needed. And timely treatment is necessary to avoid affecting the child’s normal life and study. It will cause the child to suffer psychological trauma which is difficult to heal.

7. People generally believe that body odor is hereditary and is a dominant trait. From what we know, the genetic factor for body odor is on the sex chromosomes, that is, on the X chromosome of the sex chromosomes YX. Therefore, if a father has body odor, it will only be passed on to his daughter and never to his son.
