So why don't children grow hair? In fact, the fact that children don't grow hair has a lot to do with their usual diet. The child does not supplement enough nutrients, especially the iron and some vitamins needed for hair growth, but never use hair growth drugs.

1. If you are deficient in calcium, supplement calcium and vitamin D and get more sun exposure: A. Calcium supplement: 300-500 mg of elemental calcium per day. Compound calcium powder: 2-3 packets per day (each packet contains 100 mg of calcium). B. D supplement: 400-800 IU per day. Concentrated cod liver oil drops: 3-5 drops per day.

2. Zinc test results show that zinc is present, and zinc deficiency can be supplemented: Zinc sulfate syrup: 0.4 ml/kg/day, orally in three doses. Amino acid zinc chewable tablets: 4 mg per day, dissolved in water and taken orally.

3. Iron deficiency supplement: 1. Dietary supplements: lean meat, fish, liver, kelp, black fungus, millet, dark green leafy vegetables, etc.; and you should eat more substances that promote iron absorption such as vitamin B2 and C (contained in fresh vegetables and fruits). 2. Medicinal supplements: (1) 10% ammonium ferric citrate mixture: 1-2 ml/kg/day, divided into 3 doses. (2) Iron-rich blood: 50-150 mg/time, 2-3 times a day. (3) Ferrous sulfate syrup (4) Ferrous fumarate dry syrup (5) Beibei Blood Treasure (6) Green Iron Oral Liquid (7) Iron dextran. 4. Copper deficiency should be supplemented: Copper deficiency can also cause yellow hair and white hair. Black hair contains higher copper than yellow hair, and yellow hair contains higher copper than white hair. Therefore, they are both the main causes of yellowing and white hair. Eat more liver, oysters, lobster, nuts, seeds, soybean flour, and wheat germ; eat less high-sugar, raw meat, stale food, and vitamin E, which hinder the absorption of copper. Do not supplement copper directly, as the required amount is close to the toxic amount, which is very dangerous.

What parents must pay attention to is that no matter what adverse reactions their children have. Parents should be careful not to use medicines at will, because children's medicines are different from those for adults, and children's physical constitutions are relatively poor, so treatment for children can only be carried out slowly. Parents should choose their children's milk powder carefully. Some big brands of milk powder are worthy of parents' trust, but small brands have no guarantee.
