Why does my seven-month-old baby not like to laugh?

Babies are the angels of every family. The physical development of babies is a matter of great concern to parents. From the first month of birth to 7 months, there are many changes in the body of the child. You can find something new every day. The child will have a smiling expression from two months old. Then parents will find that the 7-month-old baby does not like to laugh. What is the reason?

There is a scientific method to make people laugh

According to a new study conducted by American scientists, even babies who are only a few months old often have a desire to be happy to varying degrees. In fact, sometimes babies cry for a long time not because they are hungry or have wet diapers, but because they want to play, have fun, or change their environment, or at least want someone to get close to them. If you keep ignoring him, he will definitely cry even harder.

It is important for new parents to learn how to have fun with their newborn baby. The main ways include:

Let your baby come into contact with water as early as possible. Healthy babies can take a half-body warm water bath right after birth. After the umbilical cord falls off, switch to a full body warm water bath. When the baby is one month old, bathe him every 2 days. When bathing, the room temperature is required to be controlled at 20-21℃, the water temperature is 35℃, and the bathing time should not exceed 5 minutes. Although it is not possible for babies to "play in the water" at this stage, most babies will feel happy when they come into contact with water.

Let your baby lie in the cradle in different positions, such as sometimes lying on his back, sometimes lying on his stomach or on his side. You should know that frequent changes in sleeping positions will satisfy your baby's desire for novelty, and the effect is similar to that of playing games.

When your baby is one month old, try to make eye contact with him and work hard to get him to meet your gaze. When a mother is feeding her baby, the distance between the baby's eyes and the mother's face should be kept at 30 cm. This distance is the distance that the baby likes best and can see things most clearly. When the mother is feeding the baby, she should smile and look at him attentively, which will make the baby feel very happy.

Hold a toy in front of your baby's eyes and move it slowly, letting him follow the object, even though he won't make "ah-ah" sounds to express his sense of curiosity.

Nowadays, many parents find that their children do not laugh, so they will deliberately make their children laugh, hoping that the children will utter babbling or giggling sounds. This will make the parents very happy. However, when it comes to making the children laugh, we must first choose some more special methods, and they must be scientific and correct so as not to hurt the children.
