How can children grow taller?

With the improvement of living standards, every family now basically has only one child. They are the treasures of the family. Parents are working hard and striving for their children. If a child has a headache or fever, parents will become anxious and angry, and think that it would be worse if they were sick themselves. Many parents don't know much about the height of their children. Today, let's take a look at how children can grow taller. What stages should we pay attention to?

1. Don’t miss the rapid growth period: The peak of height growth for most Han Chinese children is around 12 years old for girls and around 14 years old for boys; more than 90% of girls have the fastest height growth between 11 and 13 years old, and boys between 13 and 15 years old. In order to make children grow taller, parents should pay special attention to issues such as nutrition and exercise during their rapid growth period.

2. Pay attention to nutritional supplements: Nutrition is the key to children's physical growth. The energy, protein and amino acids required for normal physical growth must be supplied by food, mainly meat, eggs, beans and legumes. Bone formation also requires adequate amounts of calcium, phosphorus and trace amounts of manganese and iron. Insufficient calcium intake and vitamin D deficiency will cause insufficient bone mineralization. Vitamin A deficiency will cause bones to become shorter and thicker. Vitamin C deficiency will cause defects in the bone cell matrix and make it brittle, all of which will affect bone growth.

3. Pay attention to physical exercise: Physical exercise can enhance the body's metabolic process, accelerate blood circulation, promote the secretion of growth hormone, accelerate bone tissue growth, and benefit the body's height growth. Physical exercises should include vertical exercises such as pull-up bars, rope skipping, and basketball, which can help children grow taller.

4. Develop the habit of going to bed early and getting up early: When in a deep sleep state, 10-12 o'clock at night and around 5 o'clock in the morning are the peak periods of growth hormone secretion. Therefore, children should go to bed before 9 o'clock in the evening and get up after 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning to ensure better secretion of growth hormone.

It turns out that giving children enough nutrition alone can help them grow taller. You also need to choose exercises suitable for children to help promote growth hormone. We also need to help children develop good work and rest habits, so that our babies will not only grow taller, but also enhance their body resistance and reduce the chance of illness.
