Many children have the habit of taking naps, but the habit is not good. Many children's nap time is not regular, and they spend too much time sleeping each time. Many children go to bed immediately after lunch and sleep for a long time, which leads to a sick body and no energy every day. If children have such a nap habit for a long time, it will cause great harm to their bodies. How can we cultivate children's nap habits? 1. Cultivate the correct sleeping posture for children, sleep on the right side, do not sleep on your stomach or cover your head. 2. With the help of an adult, young children should take off their outer clothes and shoes before going to bed, put them in a fixed place, cover themselves with a small floral quilt, and put on their outer clothes and shoes when they get up. 3. Let the child go to bed quietly, walk gently after waking up, do not talk loudly, and do not wake up others. 4. Cultivate good habits in children such as not holding urine, not wetting the bed, and urinating in time. 5. During naps, do not bite the corners of the quilt or zippers, do not suck your fingers, do not take dangerous objects such as pebbles, buttons, glass balls, etc., and pay attention to safety. Our class uses the following methods to cultivate good nap habits for young children: Individual education. Young children come from all places and families, and there are individual differences among them, so they develop different sleeping habits. During naps, I provide targeted individual education based on the different situations of the children. For example, when Sun Jie first entered kindergarten, he always held a stuffed bear toy no matter whether he was doing activities, eating, or taking naps. His mother said that he had developed this habit since he was a child and asked the teacher to help him correct this bad habit. I took the plush toy away from him at the beginning of his nap, but he kept crying and making a fuss and refused to sleep, so I had to give it to him. For several days in a row, the plush toy sometimes fell to the ground and sometimes dragged on the ground. Whenever this happened, I would reason with him by saying that plush toys are dirty and have bacteria on them, and that if he held the plush toy and got his hands contaminated with bacteria, he would get sick. I consciously made him understand that it is not good to hold a plush toy all day. One day during his nap, I hid his toy. After he woke up, he asked me for the toy. I said, "Your toy is too dirty, so I washed it for you." He asked me for it again the next day, but I said it wasn't dry yet. Then I diverted his attention by playing with building blocks, telling him stories, and playing games with him. Gradually, he stopped wanting it and could take a normal nap and move around normally without it. You can choose these methods when cultivating your child's nap habit, which is also the most beneficial for the child's physical development. The child's nap time should not exceed two hours. If it exceeds two hours, the child's mind will be groggy, so he will appear what we call sick and lack of energy. When the child is taking a nap, you must pay attention to the temperature in the room. He cannot be exposed to cold or heat. |
