Is it okay for children to eat almonds?

Almonds help children's brain development, moisten the lungs, reduce phlegm and relieve coughs. Eating in moderation is very beneficial. Generally, it should not exceed 10 grams, because if it is excessive, there will be some side effects. First of all, almonds will affect the baby's gastrointestinal digestive function. Children with diarrhea symptoms are best not to eat them because it will aggravate the symptoms of diarrhea. Secondly, almonds are large in size for babies and can easily cause choking if they are eaten directly. It is best for children over three years old to eat a proper amount of almonds every day. The almonds can be ground into powder and then fed to them so that they are easier to absorb.

Babies should eat almonds with caution. Almonds are rich in nutrients. Eating almonds can help replenish nutrients and improve one's immunity. However, for babies, you need to choose carefully. Almonds are divided into southern apricots and sweet apricots. Northern almonds are bitter and slightly toxic, so they are not suitable for babies to eat, so as to avoid their toxicity affecting the baby's body. Sweet almonds contain cellulose. If babies eat too much, sweet almonds will cause swelling in the baby's abdomen, which may cause indigestion, diarrhea or vomiting, and incomplete throat inflammation.

Moreover, almonds are larger than the baby's throat. Feeding almonds directly to the baby can easily choke the baby and cause tracheal problems. Therefore, it is best for parents not to feed almonds to the baby. If you must feed almonds to your baby, you must control the amount and grind the almonds into powder first and add it to porridge or other foods that are easier for your baby to digest before feeding it.

Children have no self-control and will eat snacks at random when their parents are not around. When eating almonds, adults must be present and only give the children about 3 almonds. Almonds contain a small amount of poison. Although it is okay to eat them after frying, children's gastrointestinal metabolism is weak, so they can only eat a little. If they eat too much, the children will suffer, and parents are worried.
