When they went to see a specialist again, they were told that it was too late for treatment and they could only wait until they were 18 to have surgery. The little girl's mother was left in tears and laughter. It was later learned that the "dentist" knew nothing about orthodontics and had only learned how to make dentures from someone else. So, at what age is it appropriate to correct tooth deformities in children? Experts from Ya'an Century Dental Clinic told parents that the key is "early" and not to miss the opportunity to treat dental and jaw deformities. Straightening your teeth is a big deal, and it’s not something you can do just because you want to. This also involves the pain of tooth extraction and the hassle of going to the hospital for follow-up visits every month.
