Red spots on the child

Red spots on the child

There are many reasons why children have red spots on their bodies. First, it may be because the child has come into contact with allergens and caused skin allergies. It may also be due to eczema, which is an infection caused by not paying attention to skin hygiene. Therefore, for the reason why the baby has small red spots on the body, we should adjust the baby’s diet and pay attention to skin cleanliness. If allergies or inflammation occur, timely treatment should be sought.

My baby has a lot of small red spots on his body. What's going on?

1. Family history of allergic constitution. If parents, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, siblings and other family members have a history of allergies such as eczema, allergic rhinitis, allergic dermatitis, etc., the baby is prone to eczema.

2. External inducing factors. If the baby inhales pollen, dust mites, fur, dandruff, etc.; is affected by climate changes such as sunlight, cold, humidity and heat; is stimulated by cosmetics, detergents, etc.; is allergic to food such as fish, shrimp, crab, beef and mutton, etc., it will cause eczema, and the symptoms will be red spots.

3. Internal factors. The baby's skin stratum corneum is thinner, the capillary network is rich, and the endothelium contains more water and chloride. It is more sensitive to various stimuli, so it is easy to develop eczema.

4. Diet: For breastfed babies, mothers should be careful not to eat foods such as fish and shrimp that may cause allergies. If a bottle-fed baby develops eczema, it may be that the baby is allergic to the milk powder. You can try changing the milk powder to see if the situation improves. When adding complementary foods, do not add egg whites first. It is best to add a small amount of egg yolk first, and then gradually increase the amount. Don't let your child eat too much.

5. Clothing material: Neither mother nor baby should wear clothes made of silk or wool fabrics to avoid causing or aggravating the baby's allergies. It is best to choose soft cotton clothes.

What should I do if my baby has many small red spots on his body?

For babies with dry skin, you can apply moisturizing oil to moisturize the skin.

Be sure to reduce the number of bathing times and do not use too high a water temperature during bathing to avoid scalding your baby's skin.

Give your baby loose clothes, make sure they are made of pure cotton, and it is best to choose light-colored clothes.

After bathing, wipe your body gently with a soft cloth, do not rub hard.

Try to use clean water to wash your face. If you feel it is not clean enough, you can add a little baby cleansing product. Remember not to use irritating cleansing products, especially soap.

Baby's clothes should be exposed to the sun frequently.

Keep your baby away from plush toys, woolen clothes and tweed clothes worn by adults to prevent your baby from allergies.

If your baby has an allergy or eczema, red spots will appear. Do not scratch them with your hands to avoid infection. The baby's room should be ventilated and the clothes should be taken out to dry in the sun frequently. It is best to choose pure cotton clothes for the baby, and it is best to wash them before wearing them for the first time.
