Why does my child always have stomachache?

Many people suffer from stomach problems, which are more common in adults. They are mainly caused by long-term irregular diet. When stomach problems occur, it is very uncomfortable, and you will feel uncomfortable whether you eat or not. However, in recent years, the number of people suffering from stomach problems is getting younger and younger, and even many children suffer from stomach problems. What is the reason why children always have stomach pain? How should children's stomach pain be treated? Let's read on.

1. Acute gastritis is an acute inflammation of the gastric mucosa caused by various reasons. The causes include bacterial infection, bacterial toxin contamination, viral infection, etc. Chemical factors such as taking aspirin, quinine, anti-tumor drugs, indomethacin, etc. can cause damage to the gastric mucosa; dietary factors such as excessive drinking, overeating, too rough food, and stimulation of too cold or too hot food; physical factors such as foreign bodies in the stomach, gastric stones, and gastric radiotherapy. The onset of acute gastritis is usually rapid. Acute gastritis caused by bacteria or toxins contaminating food usually occurs within a few hours, usually not more than 24 hours.

2. Chronic gastritis is often caused by incomplete treatment of acute gastritis. Gastric and duodenal ulcers are often related to seasonal changes, mental factors, improper diet, or a history of long-term use of ulcer-causing drugs such as aspirin. High mental stress and overexcitement of the vagus nerve can worsen ulcers and cause acute perforation.

Many patients with stomach problems have had this experience: anger, tension, and anxiety will aggravate stomach problems. This is because these negative emotions can cause autonomic nervous system dysfunction in the stomach, making the gastric smooth muscle tense, affecting gastric motility, and causing excessive secretion of gastric acid and pepsin, which can damage the gastric mucosa. Therefore, patients will feel very uncomfortable in their stomach.

The above is an introduction to why children always have stomach pain. Many of them are caused by inflammation and should be treated in time when discovered. In addition, to prevent stomach problems, children should develop good eating habits from an early age, not be picky about food or lose their appetite, and should not go hungry or full for one meal without any regular diet.
