What are the symptoms of insufficient blood in children?

Insufficient Qi and blood in children will endanger their growth and development, lead to the decline of internal organ functions, poor resistance, and infection with various diseases. Therefore, it is better to discover the symptoms of insufficient Qi and blood in children early and deal with and treat them early. The main manifestations of insufficient qi and blood in children are crying, dull eyes, lack of energy, dry and inelastic skin, yellow and white skin, loss of appetite, thin body, cold hands and feet, sparse hair, restless sleep, trance, lack of concentration, etc. When these symptoms appear, you must pay attention and take the child to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.

1. Look at the fingertips

Children are the same as adults. If the finger pads are flat and weak or the fingertips are thin, it means that the body is deficient in Qi and blood and has a lot of cold and dampness. If the finger pads are plump, fleshy and elastic, it means that the body is healthy and has sufficient Qi and blood.

2. Look at the blue veins

Children who have blue veins on their nose bridge or eyebrows have severe cold in their bodies, indigestion, and insufficient qi and blood.

3. Look at sleep

Children who fall asleep quickly, sleep soundly, breathe evenly and silently, and sleep through the night have sufficient Qi and blood; those who have difficulty falling asleep, are easily startled and wake up easily, sleep restlessly, toss and turn frequently, urinate frequently at night, breathe heavily, or snore, are mostly children with insufficient Qi and blood.

Children with insufficient qi and blood need to be adjusted in time and supplemented with rich nutrients. It is recommended to replenish qi and blood at the same time, but the premise is not to put a burden on the child's gastrointestinal tract to avoid counterproductive results. Give some light food that is easy to digest and can enhance children's resistance. Let your children exercise appropriately, strengthen their physical fitness, get enough sleep, and keep warm.
