Why does a one-month-old baby have mucus in his nose?

Human beings are strange yet advanced animals. Biologists have studied humans for so long but still cannot find out anything. It is not easy for a human to grow from a fetus to a baby and then slowly develop into shape. The structure and development of a baby is incredible. For example, if a baby has booger in his nose at one month old, why does the baby have booger in his nose at one month old, and what is booger? All of these are questions, that is, where does the booger come from? If you want to know why a baby has booger in his nose at one month old, then listen to me carefully. I believe you will get enlightenment after reading this.

If your baby has nasal mucus, it may be related to dry air, colds, inflammation and other factors. Pay attention to maintaining indoor temperature and humidity, and feed the baby more water. You can first dip a cotton swab in some water to soften the mucus and then use a special cotton swab to clean it for your baby. Keep cleaning it regularly.

Maintain the indoor temperature and humidity, and don't let it be too dry. At the same time, give your baby more water to prevent getting angry or catching a cold. The mother should eat a light diet.

In this case, you can use a small cotton swab, squeeze a little erythromycin ointment on the tip of the cotton swab, then gently insert the cotton swab tip with erythromycin into the baby's nose, and evenly apply the erythromycin inside both nostrils of the baby. Erythromycin can dilute the mucus in the baby's nose. After the mucus is diluted, you can use a clean cotton swab to gently remove the mucus in the baby's nose.

1 If you can directly see the obstruction or secretions in the nose, take a baby cotton swab, dip it in water or baby oil, and then go deep into the nostril (no more than 2 cm) to remove the secretions. Be careful not to go too deep into the nasal cavity. The nasal mucosa is very fragile. Do not blindly remove it to avoid damage. Just gently wipe away the mucus and snot.

2 Use a warm towel to apply hot compress to the nose. When the nasal mucosa is exposed to heat, it will shrink and the nasal cavity will be more unobstructed. At the same time, the sticky nasal mucus will also be easily hydrated and flow out.

3 The most convenient and effective method is to use a nasal aspirator (for babies). The correct method of use is as follows:

A Lay your baby on your lap or on a flat surface, with his or her face facing you. You have to see his nostrils. Flatten the nasal aspirator, put it into the nostril, and slowly release the nasal aspirator. The mucus will be sucked out. Then take out the nasal aspirator and spray the mucus and solution from the nasal aspirator onto the toilet paper. Repeat the above steps until all the mucus is sucked out.

B If there is still a large piece of snot in the nostril that is difficult to suck out, tear off a small piece of toilet paper, roll it into a long strip (not too short, but a length that is easy to take out), insert it into the nostril and roll out the snot. If there is still runny nose, repeat it once. Then clean the other nostril in the same way.

After reading this, do you think it is incredible that you have developed to this point? Has this solved the problem of why there is booger in the baby's nose at one month old? In fact, if you pay attention to the babies around you, you will find that they have many phenomena that you don't know about. If you observe carefully, you will find that you have also developed and grown up in this way. It is normal to have these developmental conditions, but you just didn't pay enough attention to them.
