What's wrong with my child's cerebral palsy?

Cerebral palsy in children is one of the most common children's diseases nowadays. When faced with a disease like cerebral palsy in children, we as parents must first choose a regular hospital to give the child the most detailed examination and choose the most suitable treatment method for the child. No matter how serious the disease is, I believe that no parent is willing to give up the treatment of their child. Many parents may not understand why their children suffer from cerebral palsy. Let us learn about the causes of cerebral palsy in children.

Cause: The root cause of cerebral palsy is the damage or necrosis of brain cells. Finding a way to repair and regenerate damaged or necrotic brain cells has been a common exploration in the medical community for many years. Traditional treatments are unable to rebuild the nervous system from the perspective of repairing cells, Western medicine cannot connect nerves through surgery, and drugs can only provide an environment for nerve regeneration but cannot truly achieve nerve regeneration.

Suggestions: 1. If children with cerebral palsy have no intellectual disability and mild paralysis, their condition can be improved through treatment and functional training. If they have severe intellectual disability, poor physical fitness, and severe paralysis, they are often susceptible to pneumonia, indigestion and other diseases that threaten their lives.

2. The purpose of functional training is to increase muscle strength, overcome pathological reflexes, and restore social adaptability. It is an essential key measure to consolidate and improve the treatment effect. Western countries mainly rely on functional training to treat cerebral palsy.

3. Psychotherapy. Children are relatively young, but they can also receive psychological treatment. Children with this disorder often have emotional disorders, abnormal behavior, and cognitive impairment. In view of the psychological barriers of children with cerebral palsy, respect the patients in comprehensive treatment, listen carefully, understand, comfort and encourage the children, stimulate the active participation of the children while correcting the limb dysfunction, and improve the effect of treatment training. It is also a treatment method for cerebral palsy. Health education to improve the psychological state of the children, actively communicate with the children, gradually overcome the children's paranoia and dependence, establish independence, self-confidence, strength and upward confidence, cultivate their self-care ability, and enable them to adapt to society.

It is something that every parent is reluctant to accept and face that their child suffers from cerebral palsy. However, no matter what, I hope that parents can face it bravely. I believe that with the continuous advancement of medical development, a suitable cure will be found. Through treatment and subsequent rehabilitation, children can regain the greatest self-care and independence and have happy childhood memories.
