What to do if your 11-month-old baby has indigestion

Babies aged eleven months can already eat some complementary foods. You can let them eat some eggs appropriately. When the baby starts to eat food other than breast milk, the baby’s stomach is not yet adapted to it, which will cause indigestion in the baby. This is a common phenomenon. Next, let’s find out what to do if the baby of eleven months old has indigestion?

First, the food the mother eats is cold, and the breast milk passes to the baby, causing the baby's delicate stomach to be unable to bear it and causing diarrhea.

Second, the baby was not wearing a bellyband, and the close-fitting clothes were too loose, allowing the cool wind to blow in. Although the bellyband is very thin, it can be placed directly above the belly button to provide protection, so wearing one more bellyband can play a big role.

Third, the milk that the baby drinks is not digested, resulting in poor intestinal absorption. This is mainly because the mother eats too greasy food. As long as the mother eats light food, it will be fine.

Fourth, the baby lacks digestive enzymes, which leads to the inability to absorb. Such babies can only take more medicine to aid digestion. The main ones are: Lactase, Golden Shuangqi, and Mommy Love.

Solution:

1. Normally, breastfeeding mothers should pay attention to their diet and eat as little cold food as possible. No matter how greedy they are, they have to endure it.

2. No matter how the weather changes, the baby should wear a belly band, which can be padded in winter and single in summer. It is best to let your baby wear a bellyband with legs (the kind that can be put over the legs), which can keep the baby close to the body at all times.

3. If your baby often has diarrhea after eating milk powder, try changing several types of milk powder. If that doesn't work, buy skimmed milk powder or milk powder with a slightly lower fat content. Mothers who are breastfeeding should pay attention to eating more vegetables and drinking more water. Millet porridge is nutritious and not high in fat, so it is a good choice!!

4. On weekdays, you should give your baby more digestive enzymes, such as: Lactase, Golden Shuangqi, and Mommy Love. These little pills are delicious and sweet, and babies won’t resist them. You also need to prepare some emergency diarrhea medicines: montmorillonite powder (Smecta), cefuroxime ("yuekui"), but I can't find the word "yuekui" in the drug, so I wrote it as "yuekui". This medicine should only be taken after testing whether the baby has enteritis. You must ask the doctor before taking it). If the diarrhea is really severe, take a bag of Gentomycin Sulfate Granules, which are stored quickly. Just be sure to take a smaller dose than the prescribed dose to avoid problems (taking too much of this can cause deafness). Inexperienced parents must not take this medicine!!

Young children are more vulnerable to viruses, which are mainly transmitted through drinking unclean water or food, and contact infection. Therefore, diarrhea in young children is mostly caused by insufficient disinfection during feeding or secondary contamination by parents. The baby bottle should be soaked in disinfectant once a week, but must be rinsed clean after soaking. Milk that has been left for too long should not be consumed. At the same time, parents should wash their hands frequently, especially some parents who feed their children while holding a mobile phone. The bacteria or viruses on the mobile phone may harm the baby. Therefore, parents should also frequently wipe their mobile phones and computer keyboards with alcohol cotton to avoid virus infection.

The above is the treatment method for indigestion in eleven-month-old babies. Feeding of young children is very important. Young children are vulnerable to various viruses. The main reason is eating unhygienic food in daily diet. Especially in summer, some foods that have been stored for a long time should not be given to babies. Try to get them to eat something new.
