The thing that parents fear most is that their children get sick, because once a child gets sick, it is not only difficult to treat but also can cause more diseases. Take fever for example. Once a child has a fever, it will easily cause a rash on the child. The rash is difficult to treat, but for the sake of the child's health, it has to be treated. So, how should the child's rash be treated? The rash that appears after a fever may be an infection. My family member developed a rash after a fever in May, and the doctor said it was an acute infection. It could also be "roseola infantum", also known as "burn rash", a common rash disease in infancy and childhood, which is more common in children under 2 years old. The typical feature is that the child has a fever for 3-5 days, and after the fever subsides, a rash appears all over the body and disappears quickly. Roseola infantum is a viral infection that can be transmitted through the air and droplets, with an incubation period of approximately 8-14 days. The typical symptoms of the children are acute onset, sudden and persistent temperature rise, mild systemic symptoms, and possible cold symptoms or diarrhea. After 3-5 days of high fever, the body temperature suddenly drops. At the same time or the day before, irregular rose-colored spots or maculopapular rashes appear all over the child's body, starting on the neck or trunk and quickly spreading to the whole body. The rash disappears quickly within 1-2 days without leaving any marks or peeling. When the disease occurs, the lymph nodes behind the ears and in the occipital region of the child often swell, but there is no tenderness, and it takes several weeks for the symptoms to gradually subside. Roseola infantum rarely has complications, so care for the affected child should be strengthened. Children should drink plenty of water and rest more, and should be cooled down physically or with medication when they have a high fever to avoid convulsions caused by high fever. There is no specific medicine for this disease, but the prognosis is good. Generally speaking, once you have had this disease, it will never recur. If a child has not had this disease before the age of 2, he or she will not get it again in the future. Among the many methods mentioned above for treating children's rashes, there is always one method that is suitable for your child. Children's bodies are very weak. If parents do enough, they can reduce the occurrence of diseases in children. Finally, I hope all babies have a healthy childhood. |
