Children often complain of headaches

Headaches are a phenomenon that affects everyone at any age and can occur in both adults and children. However, compared to children, adults are more likely to suffer from headaches due to long-term fatigue and abnormal work and rest and diet. If children feel headaches, special attention should be paid. Some children may have hereditary headaches, but some may be caused by staring at electronic products for a long time or rhinitis, etc., and should be treated early.

Generally speaking, many of the reasons why children experience headaches are the same as those for adults, but some are hereditary, so if both husband and wife have hereditary headaches, their children will also have them. There are many causes of headaches, including colds, rhinitis, otitis media, hypertension, central nervous system infections and other diseases. Headaches are also related to the lifestyle habits of modern children. Watching TV, using the computer, or doing homework or reading for a long time can cause eye muscle fatigue and high mental tension. Incorrect sitting posture when doing homework can also cause neck muscle tension, which can cause headaches in children. Paying attention to children's eye hygiene is beneficial for preventing myopia and headaches.

Sometimes, headaches are caused by certain inflammatory conditions, such as otitis media, influenza, arthritis, urinary tract infection, etc. But most headaches do not indicate a major problem; only 10% are caused by disease or inflammation.

The baby reported pain near the temple and symptoms of a cold and cough, so we may consider whether it is caused by fever or inflammation. Children's headache may be caused by certain inflammations. Measure the temperature. If the child has a fever, he or she can take some antipyretic drugs. In addition, the baby should be asked to rest more and sleep for 9 hours as much as possible.
