What to do if blisters appear on your child's hands

For mothers, the health of their children is the most important thing. Sometimes when there is a problem with their children's health, mothers often express worry and anxiety. Today we will talk about one of the most common situations in the process of parenting, that is, blisters on the hands of children. Let's learn about the reasons why children get blisters and how mothers should deal with it.

In fact, there are generally two situations when blisters grow on children's hands:

First: Tinea manuum. Tinea manuum is a skin ringworm disease caused by fungal infection. Patients with tinea manuum are generally accompanied by athlete's foot. It is contagious. The main symptom is also blisters. It can occur all year round, accompanied by itching. After a long time, cracks will appear and the skin will bleed after scratching. The treatment of this disease is mainly anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic. For tinea circinata, Kangningxi can be the first choice.

Second: Dyshidrosis. Dyshidrosis is mainly caused by blockage of sweat ducts. The main manifestation is blisters. The disease is seasonal, usually more common in spring and summer, and heals in autumn and winter like normal skin.

Tinea manuum is divided into blister-scaly type and keratinized thickening type. Generally, blisters belong to the blister-scaly type. For this type, you can use miconazole cream, clotrimazole cream, compound benzoic acid liniment, compound resorcinol liniment, etc. In addition, because the hands are often washed with water, the number of local medicated applications should be increased, especially after washing hands, you should apply ointment or cream.

There are three treatments for herpes:

1. Oral medication

Short-term oral prednisone is more effective.

2. Topical medication

In the early stage, the main treatment is drying and relieving itching. You can apply 1% phenol calamine lotion externally. When peeling begins, glucocorticoid cream or ointment can be used. If local peeling occurs repeatedly, you can apply 2% to 5% salicylic acid ointment, allantoin ointment, etc.

3. Traditional Chinese Medicine

Oral medication should be used to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, and the prescription can be Jianpi Chushi Decoction or Chushi Pills. Use Cangfu water or Gankudzu water for external washing.

Of course, if the child's condition is more serious, he or she should go to a relevant skin hospital for examination. In fact, the blisters on children's hands are also partly the responsibility of adults, so in daily life, we should pay more attention to children's hygiene, and let children avoid scratching and scalding with hot water as much as possible. Try to keep your children away from all kinds of detergents, soaps and organic solvents.
