Does Xu Yao pay attention to it?

Enamel hypoplasia refers to the developmental disorder of enamel structure due to systemic and local reasons during the development of teeth, resulting in poor enamel mineralization and even substantial defects. The main causes of enamel hypoplasia are:

1. Severe systemic diseases during infancy, such as high fever, pneumonia, measles, scarlet fever, etc.; 2. Severe nutritional disorders during infancy, such as deficiency of vitamin A, vitamin D, calcium and phosphorus;

3. Local factors: It is common that severe infection occurs in the periapical tissue of deciduous teeth, which affects the enamel development of the permanent tooth germ below, causing the erupted permanent teeth to show incomplete enamel development. What are the symptoms of enamel hypoplasia and how is it diagnosed?

1. Occurrence on various tooth surfaces during the same development period may involve multiple teeth, especially the labial surface and incisal edge of the anterior teeth, and the cusp defect of the posterior teeth. The relative age of the affected teeth can be inferred based on the location of the enamel development disorder and the affected teeth.

2. Mild: The enamel surface is hard and smooth, and becomes chalky or yellowish brown with slightly poor gloss, and there are no subjective symptoms. 3. Moderate: The enamel surface becomes brown with band-like or pit-like depressions, and there are generally no subjective symptoms.

4. Severe cases: The enamel surface becomes brown and honeycomb-like

Pay attention to your daily healthy diet and don’t eat too much sweets, which is bad for children’s teeth. Health starts from infancy. If you don’t pay attention to protection when your children are young and they don’t have a healthy awareness, there will be big troubles, which is not good for their growth and development. Children's tooth enamel problems can be serious or minor, and require careful supervision from parents.
