What is the reason why children can’t jump rope?

Some children are around ten years old. They often see children younger than themselves jumping rope very well, but they themselves cannot learn it no matter how hard they try. At this time, parents should pay attention. In addition to teaching children some basic skipping skills, they should also observe the children's conditions in time to prevent it from being caused by sensory integration disorder. The following editor will introduce some treatments for sensory integration disorder.

Physical exercise: 1. Balance exercise: practice on the space walker until you can let go, but be careful; walk on a balance beam or pole; hang your feet on the parallel bars, sit on one bar and then hang upside down; standing upside down is also good. Be safe when exercising!

2. Yang Style Tai Chi: It has good balance and integration and coordination.

3. Use your left and right hands to rhythmically tap various parts of the body until it doesn’t hurt. For the rest, use your sense to figure it out and persist for a long time.

Children's sensory integration training is mainly carried out by psychological experts who measure and diagnose the child's degree of sensory integration disorder and intellectual development level, and then develop a training course. Through some specially developed instruments, children are allowed to participate in the form of games. Generally, after 1 to 3 months of training, obvious results can be achieved. The child's academic performance, logical reasoning ability, comprehension ability, memory ability, motor coordination ability, interpersonal relationships, diet and sleep, and emotions have all shown satisfactory improvement.

An expert in child mental health research believes that "play therapy," which has been popular in the United States, Japan and other places since the 1970s, does not require injections or medication and is quite effective in correcting and treating sensory integration disorder. For example, use a single-plank bridge to help children find their "balance integration ability"; use a skateboard ladder to help children regain their "tactile integration ability." These are extremely helpful in treating children's sensory integration disorder.

In addition, parents should try their best to create conditions for their children to get out of loneliness, and allow them to stimulate, adjust and strengthen their various sensory integration abilities through interacting and communicating with others. In daily life, parents should not take care of everything for their children with a doting or distrustful look. Whenever possible, let the children do things on their own.

Because of this, children are not only willing and motivated, but also improve their psychological quality in the process. For example, when children are eating "snacks", parents can ask them questions about the "snacks", allowing the children to "associate" with external things, seasons, geography, etc.; similarly, parents can do the same when children are "playing".

When a child suffers from sensory integration disorder, parents should not worry too much. They should actively help the child with some basic exercises and try to give the child a positive and optimistic attitude to prevent the child from becoming anxious and fearful, which will have an adverse effect on the recovery of the disease. They can also try to induce the child to engage in some imagination to stimulate the child's sensory system.
