What causes children’s tooth mobility?

Mothers are always concerned about their children's dental problems. They not only urge and teach their children to brush their teeth and rinse their mouths every day, but also check their teeth for any abnormalities. Some children's teeth may become loose, and mothers will become very worried, fearing that the health of their teeth will be damaged. So what usually causes teeth to become movable? Let me reveal the answer to you below.

1. Replace teeth. During the period of children's tooth replacement, the deciduous teeth will become loose. After the deciduous teeth are pulled out, the permanent teeth will erupt. This phenomenon of loose teeth is normal.

2. Trauma. Children are very active and dental injuries are common. If the tooth is slightly loose, you can take anti-inflammatory drugs. Once the inflammation subsides, the stability of the tooth will automatically recover. If the tooth is severely loose or dislocated or shifted, you should soothe the injured tooth and then ligate and fix it on the adjacent teeth. At the same time, take anti-inflammatory drugs, pay attention to oral hygiene, and prohibit using this tooth in the short term, etc. After 1 to 2 months, the tooth will return to normal.

3. The occlusal strength of individual teeth is abnormal. If it is caused by excessive size or abnormal bite relationship, the doctor will usually eliminate the bite trauma and adjust the bite. The alveolar bone can repair itself and the teeth can return to a stable state.

4. Periodontal disease. Through effective treatment of periodontal disease, most cases can return to normal; if the periodontitis is moderately loose, not only the periodontal disease should be treated. In order to reduce the load on loose teeth and prevent them from becoming looser, the loose teeth should be ligated and fixed together with the adjacent teeth. At this time, most loose teeth cannot be restored. If the teeth are severely loose, that is, there is obvious looseness up and down, left and right, in order not to increase unnecessary burden on adjacent teeth, tooth extraction is often used.

These reasons will reduce the strength of children's teeth, and some cases are more serious and may further aggravate oral diseases. However, even if it is caused by physiological problems such as tooth replacement, mothers should take their children to the dental clinic for examination in time, otherwise tooth deformities may occur.
