Children's Sinusitis Massage

Children's Sinusitis Massage

For children, since all medicines have certain side effects, if it is not necessary to take medicine, it is better to take some physical methods to achieve the treatment effect. For example, massage and acupressure can be used to treat sinusitis. Massage is often performed on the Yingxiang points on both sides of the nose. For children, attention should be paid to the strength and accuracy of the acupoints. Repeating this several times will have obvious effects.

1. Open the Tianmen acupoint: First, let the child sit or lie down and get ready. The parent uses two thumbs to apply appropriate force and push the child's Tianmen acupoint alternately from bottom to top. Repeat the operation 50 times each time, and continue pushing until the child's forehead turns slightly red.

2. Push Kan Gong: Kan Gong acupoint is also a commonly used massage point for treating sinusitis, rhinitis and other diseases. The specific location of Kan Gong acupoint is a horizontal line from the center of the eyebrow along the eyebrow to the tip of the eyebrow. During the massage, let the child sit or lie on his back. Parents use the spiral surfaces of their two thumbs to push from the child's eyebrows to the ends of the eyebrows on both sides. Repeat 50 times each time. When massaging, pay attention to applying force evenly and moving gently.

3. Exercise the temples: The temples are located in the depression behind the eyebrows, one on each side of the face. Parents can use the middle fingers of both hands to rub the child's temples towards the ears, and do this 50 times continuously each time.

4. Press and rub the Yingxiang acupoints: During the specific operation, parents need to use the middle fingertips of both hands to apply appropriate force to press and rub the two Yingxiang acupoints on the child's face, and do it continuously for 50-100 times each time. It can treat nasal congestion symptoms caused by diseases such as sinusitis and rhinitis.

5. Clear the Liver Meridian and Lung Meridian: Clear the Liver Meridian 500 times. Fix the baby's index finger with one hand to expose the surface of the index finger. Use the index and middle fingers or the middle and ring fingers of the other hand to focus on the acupuncture points and push from the base to the tip. Clear the lung meridian 500 times. Fix the baby's ring finger with one hand to expose the finger surface. Use the finger surface or radial edge of the other hand to apply force to the acupoint, and push straight from the base to the finger tip.

6. Rub Yiwofeng for 2 minutes. Hold the baby's palm with one hand, with the back of the palm facing up to fully expose the acupoint. Use the middle finger or thumb of the other hand to fix on the middle of the horizontal line on the back of the wrist and rub it. "I-shaped" back rubbing method: First, rub the baby's spine and the Du channel up and down quickly until it is warm enough. Find the baby's lung point and rub it horizontally until it becomes warm.
