What is the matter with the four-month-old baby coughing and retching?

First of all, baby's cough is the most worrying problem for us parents and friends, especially for four-month-old babies. During this period, due to the relatively weak body system and very low immunity, the slightest stimulation from the outside world can easily lead to tracheobronchitis and cough, and some are also accompanied by dry retching. Now let us take a detailed look at why children have coughing and dry retching at four months old.

Symptoms of pharyngitis

Chronic pharyngitis is a diffuse inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it "false fire throat congestion".

Typical symptoms include a foreign body sensation in the throat, itching, burning, dryness, mild pain, sticky secretions often attached to the posterior pharyngeal wall, coughing due to irritation from secretions, nausea and dry retching, which are lighter in the morning and heavier in the afternoon and at night, dry oropharynx, red lips, dry cough without sputum, red cheeks in the afternoon, mental fatigue, and hot hands and feet. People with kidney deficiency suffer from soreness in the waist and knees, restlessness and insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus and dry mouth.

Chronic pharyngitis has a long course of disease. It is advisable to nourish yin and reduce fire, clear the throat to treat the root cause, detoxify and reduce inflammation, promote body fluid and moisten dryness to treat the symptoms, attach equal importance to prevention and treatment, eliminate the cause, remove the evil and cure the disease.
