Children's refractive examination can not only be used to simply check children's myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism, but also to check many eye diseases. Especially in today's life, mobile phones and computers are popular. Many children stare at their mobile phones when they are young, which is particularly easy to cause children's eye diseases and lead to early myopia. So what are the items needed for children's refractive examination? Refractive error in children is not a single disease, but a comprehensive symptom. If this happens, it is very likely to cause a series of eye diseases such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. These eye diseases will cause abnormal eye development in children. In fact, people's eye refractive status is divided into two types, one is called emmetropia, and the other is non-emmetropia. This is what people call refractive error, which is also a cause of myopia and hyperopia. However, this disease is not contagious. In fact, many children nowadays use their eyes in an unscientific way. Such long-term unscientific use of eyes will lead to refractive errors. So if you find that the patient has blurred vision, always feels that there are black spots in front of their eyes, and cannot see things in the distance clearly, you should immediately undergo a relevant eye examination. This is the only way to fully diagnose whether you have refractive errors. First of all, you should have a vision test. This examination is very critical. Only after completing this examination can we make a preliminary judgment on the patient's vision. If a decrease in vision is found, a fundus examination should be done immediately. Because the tissue structure in the eye is relatively complex, it is impossible to determine whether refractive error has occurred by relying on a single examination. In addition, a mydriasis refraction examination should be done. In addition to these examination items, some auxiliary examinations should also be performed, such as retinoscopy and automatic ophthalmometer examinations. These examinations can allow patients with less obvious symptoms and milder conditions to draw more accurate conclusions and avoid misdiagnosis. However, if the refractive error is caused by genetics, more examination items will be needed. Once it is detected that a child suffers from refractive error, relevant examinations must be taken. At the beginning, he or she should wear a pair of the most suitable glasses according to the degree tested by the examination results. However, glasses must be fitted in a regular hospital to avoid deviations in the degree. Parents also need to give their children some relevant eye training to prevent the patient's vision loss from becoming more serious. |
