Causes of pimples on baby's neck

In the hot summer, many parents reported that their newborn babies had a lot of bumps on their bodies, just like prickly heat. Even if they applied a lot of talcum powder, it was of no use. Not only did the bumps not go away, but they grew even more. Especially the area around the baby's neck grows the most. Many parents lack common sense in this area and are not careful, which leads to more and more lumps on their baby's neck. It aggravates the condition. In fact, the bumps on the baby's neck are eczema.

Eczema is an allergic disease (i.e. allergy). Its occurrence is not only caused by contact with allergens, such as protein in milk, fish, shrimp, meat, eggs, etc., but also related to the baby's delicate skin, thin stratum corneum, rich capillaries, endothelial water content and high chlorine content. In the first one to three months after the baby is born, red papules or erythema will sometimes appear on the face and gradually increase, sometimes with small blisters and yellow exudate crusts. Most babies will gradually get better after six months;

If your baby has eczema, you should:

1: Don’t let your baby eat too much (breast-fed mothers should be careful not to eat fish, shrimp and other foods that are prone to cause allergies);

2: When adding complementary food, do not add egg whites first. Add a small amount of egg yolk first, and then slowly increase the amount. The baby's food should not be too salty. 3: Neither the mother nor the baby should wear clothes made of silk or wool fabrics to avoid causing or aggravating allergies. 4: Keep the baby's skin clean and dry, and apply some cream to the baby (apply "tea oil" on the face and "neomycin fluocinolone cream" on the skin on the body).

If you find lumps on your baby's neck, you must pay close attention to it. When breastfeeding, make sure the baby eats less to prevent the severity of eczema from worsening due to spitting up. The neck must be kept dry and the baby's neck must not be too wet, otherwise the eczema cannot be cured. If you are not confident about applying ointment yourself, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up and do what the doctor recommends.
