Children have small red pimples on their faces. Do you know the reason behind it?

Small red pimples often appear on children's faces, which makes parents very worried. According to parenting experts, the cause of this symptom may be allergies, and the allergic substances are very complicated. Other factors may also be skin inflammation or infection.

1. Eliminate allergic factors

For infants, the most common foods that cause allergies include milk, eggs, peanuts, soy, wheat, seafood and fruit with seeds. The most common and also difficult to avoid is milk. In this sense, insisting on breastfeeding as much as possible, especially in the first 4 to 6 months after birth, can delay the time that the baby is exposed to milk protein. Furthermore, it is recommended to start adding complementary foods after the baby is 4 to 6 months old. It is best to start adding complementary foods with infant nutritional rice cereal. If a breastfed baby also has eczema problems, the mother should try to reduce or stop drinking milk and related foods. Of course, reducing irritation to children's skin is also a good way to prevent or treat skin eczema.

2. Resist inflammatory response and eliminate local infection

The skin changes in infants and young children with eczema are due to skin inflammatory reactions caused by allergies or other factors, so anti-inflammatory drugs should be used to change the skin changes. The only drugs that can truly fight inflammation are hormones. Since anti-infection and anti-inflammatory should be applied simultaneously and mixed preparations can now be selected, it is important to choose the right ointment for infant eczema.

3. Relieve itching

Relieving itching and pain can prevent children from scratching the local skin of eczema. Scratching can destroy the integrity of the skin, which can not only lead to worsening of eczema, but also increase the chance of local infection. Drugs that relieve itching and pain can be applied topically or taken orally. The effect of oral medication is more obvious, and the most commonly used are antihistamines, such as Claritin. These drugs should be used at appropriate doses under the guidance of a doctor.

4. Relieve dry skin

Preventing and controlling dry skin is the best way to control the progression of eczema. Bathing is very contradictory to preventing dry skin. Therefore, wash quickly with warm water every day, and try not to use bath gel, etc. Eczema is a systemic, chronic disease. Eliminate the causes of eczema as much as possible, use anti-infection and anti-inflammatory drugs reasonably, and do your best to relieve itching and moisturize. Only by adopting a comprehensive prevention and treatment program can we alleviate children's pain.

5. The room temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will aggravate the itching of eczema. Allergens should be minimized in the environment to reduce allergic reactions caused by irritation.

6. Do not keep pets at home, such as birds, cats, dogs, etc. The room should be ventilated, smoking is not allowed indoors, and carpets should not be placed indoors. It is best to wet-mop when cleaning to avoid dust, or use a vacuum cleaner to deal with dusty places in the house, such as curtains, frames and other items.

7. Perform rhythmic limb exercises for your baby for about 20 minutes before going to bed. This can not only increase the body's anti-allergic ability, but also benefit gastrointestinal function and improve the baby's sleep quality.
