What is the process of infant vision development?

When babies are growing, there are many issues to pay attention to. At this time, babies are prone to diseases. Fever and cough are very common. When babies have these conditions, they must be improved in time. Otherwise, if the problem becomes serious, it will cause other diseases in the baby's body, which will not help the baby's growth at all. So what is the process of infant vision development?

The development of infant vision:

Within 1 month

A baby one week old can see objects 8 to 15 cm away, and his eyes can follow objects; a baby one week later can see objects 3 meters away, likes to look at people's faces or high-contrast patterns, and the movements of his two eyes are not yet coordinated enough.

2 months

You will find that the baby's vision is becoming more and more focused. He likes to look at moving objects and familiar adults' faces, likes to look at colors with contrasting shades of light and dark, and his eyeballs can move with objects within a 90-degree range. When an object approaches his eyes quickly, he will have protective reflexes such as blinking and will stare at his hands for more than 5 seconds.

3~4 months

Starting from 3 months old, babies can fix their vision and see objects about 75 cm away, with a visual acuity of about 0.1. Their vision can also follow moving objects and they are very sensitive to colors. Many babies like red.

5-6 months

You can find that your baby blinks more often. He can already see the objects in front of him accurately, and may even pick them up and play with them in front of him. His hand-eye coordination is better, and he can play with objects in his hands under the control of his eyes. He can also follow the moving toys in your hands. Play with him more.

7-8 months

Able to distinguish the distance and space of objects; like to look for toys that suddenly disappear; play "hide and seek" with the baby, and observe the baby's excitement level and whether the reaction is timely.

9-10 months

The baby's line of sight can move up, down, left and right along with moving objects. He can look for fallen toys, distinguish the size and shape of objects, distinguish simple geometric figures, and observe the different shapes of objects.

11-12 months

At the age of 1, the visual acuity can reach 0.2, and the baby can distinguish objects, imitate movements, see small things such as crawling insects and mosquitoes, and can focus on small toys 3 meters away.

After understanding the process of infant vision development, parents should pay attention to these things when developing their infant's vision. Also, it should be known that the food combinations are different at each stage of the baby's development, which will be of great help to the baby's nutritional supplement.
