What to do if baby has neck eczema

As a newborn baby grows day by day, the fat on his body will continue to increase. The chubby body is cute, but this little fat can often cause great pain to the baby, such as eczema. It is very common for babies to develop eczema, especially on the baby's neck, which is a high-incidence area for eczema. When eczema appears in the neck and neck area, it is even more difficult for babies to recover.

Many infants and young children develop eczema, which can be found all over their faces and necks. Once the baby starts sweating, he will scratch and cry non-stop because of the itch.

Parents should be reminded here: First of all, do not scratch randomly to avoid breaking the skin and causing infection.

For treatment, you can use 2%~3% boric acid, rinse it with boiling water, dip a small amount on a relatively clean gauze or sterilized cotton swab, and apply it to the affected area.

In addition, you can also buy some Lizhen Cream, dip a little with a cotton swab and apply it to the affected area three times a day. After applying boric acid or Chinese medicine cold compress, you can then apply Lizhen Cream for better results. If the eczema covers a large area and the affected skin becomes red and festering, you should go to the hospital for treatment.

The following care methods are generally used for babies with eczema:

1. Do not use soap to irritate your child when washing his face and bathing him. If the eczema on the body and limbs is severe, do not take a bath temporarily. Apply medicine immediately after washing;

2. Put clean, soft and comfortable clothes on your child, change and wash pillows frequently, and use light-colored pure cotton cloth instead of chemical fiber products.

3. Do not let your child get cold or hot, avoid cold wind, and avoid exposure to the sun in summer;

4. Nursing mothers should avoid spicy foods, such as peppers, onions, garlic, wine, etc.

Babies develop eczema due to internal heat. Many parents are afraid that their babies will develop cold symptoms due to the cold, but to a large extent, babies are still very afraid of heat. Once the temperature is too high, it can easily lead to internal heat in the baby, which can stimulate serious symptoms in the body and lead to the occurrence of eczema. Therefore, mothers need to pay more attention to ventilation and heat dissipation for the baby.
