How to practice turning over for your baby

From the moment a baby is born to every stage of his/her growth, the little babies are constantly learning new skills. Mothers will have many surprises during the care process. When the baby is about three months old, many babies start to practice rolling over in bed. However, some babies may not be able to roll over smoothly due to the time of their birth or because they have too much flesh. At this time, they need the help of mothers.

The first is to let the baby lie on his back, and then mothers hold a toy to tease the baby to raise his hand to grab the toy in his hand. At this time, slowly move the toy to one side of the baby's body, and lure the baby to turn over to grab the toy. At this time, as long as the baby can lie on his side, it is considered a success, and you can give the baby the toy to play with. During this process, the baby will not turn over at the beginning. The mother can support the baby's shoulders with one hand, slowly lift his shoulders, and help the baby turn over. When helping the baby, the mother should not use too much force to avoid spraining the baby's hands and feet.

The second way is to let the baby lie on his stomach, which is also the way mothers train the baby to turn over by teasing the baby to grab the toys in their hands. The difference is that if mothers want to help their babies turn over, they can put one hand under the baby's chest and let the baby slowly turn from a prone position to a supine position. During this process, avoid spraining the baby's hand.

After the baby can do this half-turning movement during care, mothers can put the toys farther away and let the baby slowly train to catch the toys he wants by rolling over.

Babies may encounter some minor problems when practicing turning over, but mothers need to have enough patience to allow their babies to grow gradually. In addition, there needs to be a certain time limit for this kind of movement training for babies, otherwise rushing for results will tire the baby out. This will also bring a certain fear to the babies' practice in the future.
