How to get your baby to sleep

How to get your baby to sleep

Right after a baby is born, he or she is not yet well adapted to the outside environment, and will inevitably cry and be restless. At this time, how to coax the baby to sleep becomes a big problem. In particular, many parents like to hold their babies and rock them, which often brings dependence to the children. Next, let us introduce how to guide them correctly.

When the baby is asleep, turn off the lights. You can choose a not too bright lamp to allow your baby to gradually adapt to the dim light until night.

Hold the baby in your arms, lean your head gently against the baby's head, hum nursery rhymes and children's songs softly, and clap your hands gently and rhythmically.

Remember, when speaking in your baby's ear, you should speak slowly, softly, and with a gentle expression. Don't be too impatient to coax your baby to sleep, as your baby can sense it! After coaxing your baby to sleep, don't rush to put him or her on the bed (the baby may not be truly asleep at this time, and putting him or her down may easily wake him or her up). Instead, hold him or her for a while, about 10 to 15 minutes, and when you are sure that the baby is asleep, put him or her down.

ps: Some experts point out that when the baby is young, parents should treat the baby like clothes and wear them on their bodies. Babies all have "skin thirst", that is, they want their parents to hug them more, kiss them, and play with them, which easily generates positive messages such as a sense of security, trust, and happiness. It is also easier to feel happy.

In the article, we learned how to coax a baby to sleep. First of all, we need to guide the child correctly. To let the child have a peaceful sleep, the correct thing is to let the child maintain a comfortable position first and not let the child become dependent.
