Symptoms of urinary tract infection in little girls

The incidence of urinary tract infection among little girls is very high and is not conducive to their physical development, so they need to have a certain understanding of the relevant knowledge and take effective treatment according to the situation. Urinary tract infection is extremely prone to lesions and induce other related diseases. Multiple bacterial infections are seen in indwelling catheters, which are detrimental to the body's functions and require sufficient attention.

1. Urinary tract infection

Urinary tract infection refers to inflammation of the urinary tract caused by the proliferation of a large number of microorganisms in the urinary tract, which may or may not have clinical symptoms. Depending on the different microorganisms, it can be divided into bacterial infection and fungal infection. Bacterial urinary tract infection is the most common clinical condition. Depending on the cause, pathophysiology and treatment methods, urinary tract infection can be divided into uncomplicated urinary tract infection and complicated urinary tract infection.

Patients with uncomplicated urinary tract infection often have no physiological or anatomical abnormalities of the urinary tract, nor a recent history of urinary system surgery or interventional treatment. Their typical clinical manifestations are bacteriuria or pyuria, and some patients have hematuria. According to the site of infection and clinical severity, it can be divided into acute cystitis (lower urinary tract infection) and acute pyelonephritis (upper urinary tract infection).

Complicated UTIs often occur in patients with urinary tract obstruction, anatomical or functional abnormalities, or in patients who have recently undergone urinary tract surgery or catheter intervention.

2. Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infection
