Because of my work, I always have to face the computer, and I also play with my mobile phone a lot, so sometimes I feel uncomfortable in my eyes. I also know that this is caused by not getting enough rest, but I can't adjust the time. Facing the computer at work is a must. Is there any good way to prevent eyestrain?

Adjust the lighting

Reading under dim light will not hurt your eyes, but if the light does not provide enough contrast between light and dark, it will cause your eyes to get tired easily. You should use soft lighting that provides contrast between light and dark, and avoid using electric lights that reflect light directly into people's eyes.

Take a break

If you work in front of the computer for 6-8 hours continuously, you should take a break every 2-3 hours. Have a cup of coffee, go to the bathroom, or just take your eyes off the computer for 10-15 minutes.

Adjust the brightness of your computer screen

The fonts and numbers on the computer screen are like small light bulbs, shining light directly into your eyes. Therefore, you need to lower the brightness of the screen and adjust the contrast to make the font clear.

Give your eyes a good rest

The best way to relieve eyestrain is to give them a rest, which is easier than you think. You can talk on the phone with your eyes closed. If you don't need to read or write anything, you can just close your eyes and rest while chatting.

Blinking frequently

Your eyelids are your eyes' personal masseurs. Deliberately blinking 300 times a day helps clean your eyes and gives them a little massage.

Eye diseases caused by eye fatigue

Eye fatigue is mainly caused by the fact that when people concentrate on looking at the computer screen, they blink less often, resulting in a corresponding decrease in tear secretion. At the same time, the flashing screen strongly stimulates the eyes. It can cause pain in the neck, shoulders and other corresponding parts of the body, and can also trigger and aggravate various eye diseases.

The above methods can be used to relieve eye fatigue. Excessive eye fatigue will lead to the formation of myopia. Although there are many myopic people now, good eyes always feel more energetic.
