Reasons for your baby's crying

Many parents in the middle and late stages find it very difficult to discover that the baby’s cries at each stage actually represent different phenomena. From the baby’s crying, you can tell whether the child is hungry or is making a fuss because of a bad mood. Next, I will introduce to you how to judge the baby’s crying.

Baby's physiological crying

Normal crying: The sound is ups and downs, very loud, and has a sense of rhythm; crying without tears, eating, sleeping and playing are all good, each crying time is very short, and the baby may cry several times a day. At this time, the mother only needs to touch him gently, smile at him, or put his two little hands on his belly and shake him gently twice, and the baby will stop crying.

Meaning: I am fine and in good health!

This kind of crying is a special form of exercise for babies, which is good for their health:

Increase lung activity, which means taking in more fresh oxygen and expelling carbon dioxide from the body.

Accelerate blood circulation, promote body metabolism, and thus promote growth and development.

Promote the development of the nervous system, gradually form conditioned reflexes, and enhance intelligence.

Improve appetite and promote digestion and absorption of gastrointestinal tract.

Baby needs sex crying

Crying due to hunger: The crying has a begging tone, and the sound increases from small to large, and is very rhythmic; as long as you touch the baby's cheek or mouth with your hand, he will immediately turn his head, open his little mouth as if looking for something to eat, and make sucking movements; if the mother takes her hand away and does not feed the baby, the baby will cry even harder.

Meaning: I'm hungry, feed me!

The mother should feed the baby quickly. The crying stops immediately as soon as he is given milk.

Crying due to thirst: The baby's lips are dry, and he licks his lips from time to time and seems very irritable.

Meaning: I'm thirsty, give me some water!

The mother should feed the baby water immediately, and the baby will stop crying immediately after feeding the water.

Crying due to being too full: This mostly happens after feeding. The baby cries shrilly and kicks his legs. If the mother holds the baby by his belly, the baby will cry even harder, spit out milk or overflow from his mouth, or even vomit.

Meaning: You fed me too much. My little tummy is so bloated!

The mother does not need to coax the baby at this time, crying can promote the baby's digestion.

Crying because of wet diaper: The crying is not too loud and there are no tears while crying. The two legs keep kicking the quilt. It mostly happens after waking up or feeding.

Meaning: I've wet my pants, I feel so uncomfortable, change it for me quickly!

If the mother changes the baby into a clean diaper, the baby will stop crying.

Crying because of cold body: The crying is not too loud, but low but rhythmic. The baby does not move the body much when crying. The hands and feet feel a little cold and the lips feel a little itchy.

Meaning: It’s too cold, cover me with more quilts! When the mother adds quilts, clothes, or puts the baby in a warm place, the baby stops crying.

Crying because of heat: The baby cries loudly, looks restless, his arms and legs are waving, and there is a lot of sweat on his neck.

Meaning: It's so hot, please cover me less!

Now that we know how to judge the baby's crying, what we need to pay attention to in life is that many young parents often ignore their children's physical needs. Children's immunity is relatively weak, so we should pay more attention and communicate in this regard.
