How to care for red spots on a two-year-old baby's face

Many parents may not know that the baby’s skin is relatively delicate, especially on the face. Once allergies or some other symptoms occur, small red spots will appear on the baby’s face? So in life, many parents will find that their two-year-old babies have red spots on their faces. What is going on?

Eczema is an allergic reaction of a hereditary allergic constitution to certain factors in the environment. The exact cause is still unclear, but it is currently believed to be related to both genetic and immune abnormalities. This type of infant often suffers from other allergic diseases, such as allergic rhinitis, asthmatic bronchitis, urticaria, etc. The rash usually appears around 1 month after birth, and in some cases 1 to 2 weeks after birth. It mainly occurs on the cheeks, forehead and mandible, and can affect the chest and upper arms in severe cases. At the beginning, the skin becomes red with needle-sized red papules on it. Blisters, pustules, small erosive surfaces, moisture, exudation, and scabs may form. After the scab falls off, the erosive surface is underneath, which becomes erythema after healing. After several weeks to months, the edema and erythema begin to subside, the erosion surface disappears, the skin becomes dry, and a few thin crusts or scales appear. It is very important to avoid various adverse external stimuli during treatment, such as avoiding scalding with hot water, washing with soap, scratching, friction, etc. Do not use strongly irritating external medications; rinse the detergent off the clothes and diapers you wear; do not let woolen fabrics come into contact with the skin. 1. Apply medication only under the guidance of a doctor. 2. Do not wash the eczema area with water, especially hot water and soap. Instead, wipe it with sterilized vegetable oil or paraffin oil. 3. Avoid children scratching and avoid contact with silk, wool and other clothing. 4. In terms of diet, if the baby is breastfeeding, the mother should try to avoid eating foods that are prone to cause allergies. For example, if the baby is allergic to protein, the mother can eat egg yolk alone; the mother should not eat eggs, shrimp, crab and other foods for the time being. But you should eat more foods rich in vegetable oils, because unsaturated fatty acids reach the baby's body through breast milk, which can prevent the increased fragility and permeability of capillaries, which is the pathological cause of infant eczema. Babies who drink milk should also limit their food intake appropriately, especially seafood such as fish, shrimp, crab, etc. If you suspect they are allergic to milk, you can cook the fresh milk for a longer time, preferably boil it twice to remove the allergens.

In life, we must actively try and treat some methods for the small red spots on the face of a two-year-old baby. The child's skin is relatively fragile. Do not use drugs on the child indiscriminately and take the child to the hospital for examination in time.
