Why can't the baby wake up?

Many of us know that newborn babies sleep a lot, but what are the reasons why babies cannot wake up? Will it cause any harm to the baby's body? Generally speaking, children need much more sleep than adults, and the younger they are, the longer they need to sleep.

Children aged 1 to 3 months should sleep about 18 hours a day. They should sleep four times during the day, each time for 1.5 to 2 hours, and 10 to 11 hours at night. This means that except for feeding, changing diapers, and playing for a while, most of the time is spent sleeping.

Babies aged 4 to 6 months should sleep 15 to 16 hours a day. However, the sleeping pattern that determines the baby's daily life should be determined by the baby's sleeping conditions. It is foolish to wake a snoring baby and add weaning food. It is against the laws of nature to forcibly change the basic life rhythm of infant sleep. If you force yourself to do this, the baby's mood will become bad. Moreover, during this period, as long as the natural laws of baby sleep are followed, there will be no problems. Babies who love exercise sleep shorter and stay awake longer during the day. For this type of baby, we need to find ways to make him happy during his waking time. Quiet babies love to sleep during the day and go to bed early at night. Only as the baby's desire for activity in the world around him rapidly develops does daytime sleep time begin to decrease. Generally, I sleep for 1 to 2 hours in the morning and 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon. Due to the increased exercise during the day, babies who are slightly tired can sleep soundly at night. Babies who used to wake up twice at night now wake up only once; babies who used to wake up only once can now sleep through the night.

The amount of time babies sleep and how soundly they sleep varies from baby to baby between 7 and 11 months old. Generally, I take a nap in the morning, and each sleep lasts 1 to 2 hours. I sleep 1 to 2 times in the afternoon, each time for 1 to 2 hours, and my sleep conditions at night are also different. I usually sleep about 10 hours at night. Among babies of this age, it is rare for them to sleep through the night without waking up. Generally you have to wake up 2 to 3 times to urinate. At this time, there are babies who fall asleep immediately after their diapers are changed, babies who can fall asleep only after drinking enough breast milk, and babies who cannot fall asleep without drinking about 80 to 100 ml of milk. In short, babies in this period should sleep 14 to 15 hours a day. Too little sleep can affect the baby's physical development; too much sleep can affect the baby's activity time and slow down the baby's motor development.

In fact, it is normal for newborns to sleep more, because newborns grow while sleeping. Only if their sleep quality is better can they grow better. At the same time, newborns usually have very limited energy, so they need to replenish a lot of energy when they sleep.
