What are the symptoms of ADHD in babies?

Children's physical health is the most concerned issue for all mothers. How can we help our children grow up healthily? This problem is a severe test faced by parents. Although some babies do not have physical diseases, some babies show symptoms of infant ADHD. These symptoms are very detrimental to the growth and development of babies. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of infant ADHD.

1. Childhood polysomnia: also known as mild cerebral dysfunction syndrome. The occurrence of this disease is mainly related to brain trauma, difficult labor, premature birth, intracranial hemorrhage, suffocation, certain infectious diseases, poisoning, etc. It also has a certain relationship with genetic factors. Children's polysomnia is mostly from infancy, that is, they are easily excited, sleepy, and active, and then they develop inattention, excessive talking, and poor learning ability. There are many drugs for treating multiple strikes in children, such as methylphenidate (Ritalin), dextroamphetamine, benzyltoin, caffeine, and imipramine.

2. Sensory complex disorder: Causes: 1. Babies born by cesarean section have their first chance to feel touch during the birth process. 2. The baby did not go through the crawling stage after birth. The STNR (symmetrical tonic neck reflex) will continue to control the child's body. Due to the above factors, the brain loses its ability to control and combine the body's organs. From the perspective of sensory input, it may be related to dysfunctions such as tactile defense function, vestibular-proprioceptive function, and somatic motor function. Clinical manifestations include motor coordination, balance, vision, tactile disorders, hyperactivity, etc. Treatment is sensory integration training. The exercise to improve STNR is crawling training.

There are many manifestations of ADHD in infants. Parents can observe carefully for a long time, and then compare it with the above introduction, so as to discover this phenomenon in the infant in time. Severe ADHD can be treated and controlled with medication, but mild ADHD should be guided by psychological counseling.
