The main functions are inhibiting gastrointestinal motility, relieving spasms, adjusting gastrointestinal function, and enhancing immunity.

1. Inhibition of gastrointestinal motility and antispasmodic effect: The water extract and alcohol sediment of the Children's Antidiarrhea Tablets caused a significant inhibition of autonomous movement in the isolated intestinal segments of rats, indicating that both the water extract and the alcohol sediment can inhibit the peristalsis of the duodenum, and the water extract and alcohol sediment of this product can have a significant antagonistic and blocking effect on the spasmodic contraction of 14 duodenal samples of rats caused by acetylcholine and barium chloride. After the isolated intestinal segments of guinea pigs were given the water extract and alcohol precipitate of this product, 14 specimens of the ileum and colon segments all showed different degrees of relaxation, and the water extract of this product could immediately relax the spasmodic contraction of the ileum and colon induced by histamine, indicating that the water extract has the effect of antagonizing and blocking histamine.

2. Adjust gastrointestinal function: The wine sediment of pediatric antidiarrhea tablets has a significant inhibitory effect on the autonomous movement of guinea pig gastric strips, which is mainly manifested as a weakening of contraction force. The water extract also has a significant inhibitory effect on the autonomous movement of rat gastric strips, indicating that pediatric antidiarrhea tablets have a significant inhibitory effect on gastric motility. Moreover, the wine sediment of pediatric antidiarrhea tablets has the effect of reducing gastrointestinal propulsion motility, which is significantly different from the control group.

3. Enhance the immune effect: The wine sediment of children's antidiarrhea tablets can stimulate the proliferation of the body's mononuclear phagocytic system and significantly promote the phagocytic function of macrophages.

It is actually okay to give children pediatric antidiarrhea tablets, but it depends on the child's condition. If the child's diarrhea is not serious, or if there is no mental abnormality during diarrhea, then you don't need to give the child medication to treat the disease. When the child has diarrhea, remember to feed the child lighter food so that it is easier for the child to digest, which can improve the child's intestines and reduce diarrhea.
