How to treat children's lung qi deficiency

Speaking of lungs, the first word that comes to people’s mind is breathing. Indeed, the lungs are an internal organ that controls human breathing. Lung qi deficiency is also a disease in some people. The main clinical symptoms of lung qi deficiency in children are pale complexion and difficulty breathing, and the body's resistance will be weakened and it is easy to catch a cold. This type of symptom can only be treated with a combination of diet therapy and physical exercise. Of course, if you think it is acceptable, you can get Chinese medicine to decoct and take it yourself, but there is a high probability that the child cannot drink Chinese medicine.

The lungs are very important internal organs in our human body, responsible for various metabolism of the human body. However, due to the current poor living environment and bad air, such as car exhaust, haze and other reasons, our lungs will be damaged. When our lungs have begun to show symptoms of lung deficiency, we usually wear dust masks when going out, because the dust in the air is the most harmful to the health of our lungs. In addition, men must smoke less, smoking is the most harmful to the lungs. We can eat more white foods to nourish our lungs, such as pears, yams, white radishes, and other foods because Chinese medicine says that the lungs are dominated by white.

If a child suffers from lung qi deficiency, the symptom will be pale complexion. The body feels weak, but sweats easily and becomes breathless after a little exercise. The body's resistance is relatively poor, and it is easy to get sick, especially when the weather changes. Traditional Chinese medicine tells us that if we want to better nourish the lungs, we should eat more white foods and foods that have lung-nourishing effects. Common ones include yam, lily and white fungus.

Viral colds are the main culprits of coughs. Air pollution caused by dry cold, no snow, and heavy fog can seriously irritate children's respiratory tract. At Beijing Children's Hospital, after the winter begins, the hospital needs to receive more than 5,000 children every day, of which 60% to 70% suffer from upper respiratory tract infections. Symptoms include cough, runny nose, and nasal congestion. Some children have phlegm in their lungs, but they cannot cough it out by themselves. The phlegm accumulates in the lungs and becomes thick. Over time, the texture of the lungs will thicken, causing lower respiratory tract infections, usually bronchitis, and in severe cases, it will turn into pneumonia.

The treatment of lung qi deficiency is effective for organ deficiency and lung qi deficiency. If the symptoms include shortness of breath, cough, low voice, fatigue, low blood pressure, pale complexion or spontaneous sweating, pale tongue with white coating, and weak pulse, the lung qi should be replenished.
