1. Frequent urination caused by increased urine volume

2. Frequent urination caused by bladder disease

The main characteristic of frequent urination caused by bladder disease is that you always have the urge to urinate, so you urinate frequently but the amount of urine is very small, generally less than 200 ml, often only a few dozen ml or even a few ml. Common conditions include: cystitis, urinary tract infection, prostate enlargement and neurogenic bladder. For this type of frequent urination disease, it must be treated with medication based on the doctor's diagnosis.

Neurogenic bladder

It refers to a problem with the nerves that control the bladder, especially a lesion in the central nervous system of the brain or spinal cord. Since a normal bladder is controlled by the brain, a normal person can hold back their urination when they shouldn't, and can even stop in the middle of urinating. However, if there is a disease in the brain, such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and other diseases, it will lead to bladder loss of control, resulting in frequent urination and even urinary incontinence. Sometimes the bladder may become abnormally sensitive and lose regular contractions, making it impossible for the brain to control it. These are collectively called "neurogenic bladder".
