What causes herpes in children?

1. There are many reasons why children get herpes. The reasons why children get herpes come from various different aspects. If some parents do not pay attention to hygiene when taking care of their children, it may easily cause herpes in their children. For example, when we use unclean diapers for children, it will also cause this disease.

2. Infants may be infected by some bacteria, have traumatic infections, or have skin damage caused by various physical, chemical, and biological factors. These may all induce this disease. Generally speaking, when we adopt a child, we try to keep the child's skin dry and not damp. If it is damp, it is easy to get diseases like herpes.

3. Parents of children with herpes need to pay more attention to bathing their children, and be sure to use warm water for bathing. You can add some baby gold water or floral water to the water. After bathing, dry them with a towel and then use talcum powder. This can effectively relieve the baby's herpes.

Symptoms of herpes in children

1. Chickenpox is caused by the initial infection with the virus, which is more common in susceptible people who have never been infected with the virus and therefore have no immunity to it, mainly children, especially infants over 6 months old and preschool children.

2. There are red, slightly raised areas on the skin around the mouth, with a tingling or itching sensation. Small, painful yellow blisters form after 1 day.

3. After a few days, small blisters will form scabs. During the first attack, there may be symptoms such as fever and general discomfort. If the child's herpes occurs near the eyes and begins to exude or spread. See a doctor as soon as possible.

The course of herpetic pharyngitis in children

After being infected with the herpetic pharyngitis virus, the virus will first remain dormant in the child's body for 2 to 4 days. During this period of latency, the child will not show any abnormal symptoms at first. Near the end of the incubation period, there will be mild cold symptoms, and then the child will enter the acute stage of herpetic pharyngitis in children.

1. High fever. Once the incubation period is over, herpetic pharyngitis enters the outbreak period, which is what parents see their children suddenly become ill and have fever symptoms. The body temperature of severe children can exceed 40 degrees, and many children may have convulsions due to high fever. Parents should pay attention to monitoring their children's body temperature and take measures to cool them down. In serious cases, they need to take their children to the hospital for treatment.

2. Rash. The child's throat will turn red during the fever period, and white blisters will appear after the fever subsides. The blisters will affect the soft palate tonsils and even the surface of the tongue.

3. Herpes ruptures. As the disease progresses, the herpes in the child's mouth will begin to break from the initial white herpes. Both the rash period and the herpes rupture period will affect the child's eating and will also affect the child's mood. At this stage, parents should pay attention to care.

4. Healing period. After the herpes breaks, it will begin to heal quickly, which also means that herpetic pharyngitis will soon be cured.
