According to a survey: researchers selected more than 11,000 7-year-old children and asked their parents about some of the children's family living habits when they were 3, 5 and 7 years old. They also conducted IQ tests on these children.

The results showed that children with irregular bedtimes at the age of 3 would score lower on IQ tests; irregular bedtimes at the age of 5 seemed to have no effect; and girls with irregular bedtimes at the age of 7 would also score lower on IQ tests. This means that 3 years old is a critical period for children's brain development.

Experts say that when people are sleeping, the brain rests and the body secretes various hormones most vigorously. If this time is deprived, the brain's ability to absorb and store new information will be limited. Over time, children with poor sleep will naturally have a gap with children with good sleep.

Especially in the infant stage of 0-3 years old, the central nervous system and brain of children are not fully developed. They are like a dry sponge, absorbing all kinds of information from the outside world. They often show obvious changes after just a few days of not seeing each other. They are really changing with each passing day.

In addition to the brain, experts emphasize that poor sleep in children will also affect various growth and development indicators such as height and weight. This shows how important good sleep is to babies.

Therefore, the baby should be trained to sleep on cue every night, and it is recommended to sleep for 11 hours every night. With enough sleep, your baby will grow healthier and smarter!
