Baby diarrhea and fever

Baby diarrhea and fever

Diarrhea is very common. Diarrhea is usually caused by improper diet, so the treatment of diarrhea needs to be carried out in time, especially in summer. After the human body has diarrhea, if it does not get better, it is necessary to go to the hospital for examination, so that the diarrhea disease can be well treated. But what should I do if my baby has diarrhea and fever? Many people are not clear about this.

When a baby has diarrhea, parents should not give the baby medicine at will, as this will not do any good to the baby's body. Moreover, if the baby has diarrhea and fever, he or she must go to the hospital for treatment immediately, which will be of great help to the baby's body.

Baby diarrhea and fever:

First of all, parents should find out whether the cause of their baby's diarrhea is infectious or non-infectious, and then prescribe the right medicine. It is especially important to observe the baby's condition. The amount of urine is a sign of whether the baby is dehydrated. If the amount of urine is the same as usual, it means that the baby is not dehydrated. If your baby urinates little or even no, it means he may be severely dehydrated. Parents can give the baby homemade rice soup or sugar and salt water, and give the baby plenty of water.

When the baby's body temperature is greater than 38℃, it is called a fever. Generally speaking, fever will not cause harm to the baby's brain, so parents don't need to be overly nervous. As long as the baby is in good mental state and not drowsy, there is no need to send the baby to the hospital immediately. Parents only need to take the baby's temperature at any time and observe the changes in temperature. When the temperature rises above 38.5℃, you can give the child appropriate antipyretics and then go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of baby diarrhea and fever. When such a situation occurs, parents should not worry too much. There are some good treatments for babies when such a situation occurs. However, it should be noted that the choice of treatment method should be based on what is suitable for the baby's body.
