Does a child have breast pain during development?

Breasts are one of the most important organs in the human body, especially for women. Breasts are the representative organs of women. Giving birth and breastfeeding in the future also require the participation of breasts. Many children will experience breast pain during their developmental period. This situation makes parents worry, and they are afraid that it is caused by some disease. So let’s take a detailed look at whether it is normal for children to have breast pain during their developmental period.

When children's breasts develop, they often experience local hardening and mild pain. Local tissue swells and nodules may appear, which is painful. Generally, this is not a serious problem and is normal. As long as there is no severe pain, no treatment is required.

Isolated gynecomastia refers to enlargement of the breasts without other signs of gonadal development. This is because after a normal baby is born, the levels of various gonadal hormones and sex hormones increase to varying degrees, which is more obvious around one year old, and is called "mini-puberty." As sex hormones gradually decrease, the breasts slowly shrink and most return to normal within 2 years of age. However, in a few girls under 2 years old, breast development does not subside after the age of 3, but continues to develop until it eventually turns into true sexual development. If your baby has this condition, mothers should not panic too much, seek medical attention in time and cooperate with treatment.

Things to note when developing breasts:

(1) Pay attention to body posture : The fitness of women's back and breasts is closely related. When walking, you should keep your head up and chest out, keep your back straight, and sit up straight with your chest out and your abdomen and buttocks tightened. Do not hunch your back. When sleeping, lie down or on your side, not on your stomach, to avoid compressing the breasts.

(2) Do more chest exercises and avoid injuries : Breathing in the morning or at night can fully develop the chest; strengthen chest muscle exercises, such as doing appropriate chest expansion exercises or push-ups, aerobics, etc., and exercise in water when swimming, which can make the chest muscles evenly developed and the breasts healthy and elastic. It is a great exercise for breast health. However, when working or doing sports, you should pay attention to protecting your breasts to avoid impact or compression injuries.

(3) Do breast massage : Avoid using hot water to stimulate the breasts when bathing, and do not soak in hot water for a long time to prevent the soft tissue of the breasts from loosening and causing dry skin. Before bathing, you can use slightly cooler water to rinse the breasts and chest skin to exercise and enhance elasticity. After bathing and in the morning and evening, you can massage the breasts appropriately to promote nerve reflexes and improve pituitary secretions.

(4) Balanced nutrition: Eating fish, meat and dairy products in moderation can increase a small amount of fat and keep the breasts full. Do not blindly diet or eat a picky diet in pursuit of "slimness" to avoid affecting breast growth due to insufficient nutrition.
