What should a teacher do if a child lies?

As babies grow up, many of them have the habit of lying. Generally speaking, when babies lie, parents must guide them correctly. Good habits are developed slowly. Especially for children who lie, parents and teachers must not label their children as liars, otherwise it is easy for children to develop a rebellious psychology. Children must be guided correctly to get rid of the habit of lying and be encouraged to correct their mistakes actively.

What should teachers do if children lie?

First of all, teachers should do their job well and set a good example. You must do what you promised to your children. If you fail to do so or forget to do so, you must explain to the children and apologize to them as soon as possible. Only in this way will children understand you and forgive you. If a teacher always does not keep his word, the impression given to the children is that the teacher is also not trustworthy and is always lying.

Once again, teachers must let children understand that even if you tell a lie, the teacher will not dislike you because you tell a lie. Similarly, if you admit your mistake and correct it, the teacher will still love you. Therefore, after dealing with a child who tells lies, the teacher must not change his attitude towards this child, otherwise other children will see this and dare not admit that they told lies again, because they are afraid that the teacher will no longer like them.

Third, if you find that your child has lied, you must discuss with the child and try to find a process for the child to admit the lie that the child can accept, or a process that allows the child to tell the lie without being hurt.
