Children with transverse teeth?

Babies will grow deciduous teeth as they grow. Generally, if a baby starts to grow permanent teeth, they need to be extracted before the deciduous teeth fall out. In fact, deciduous teeth will adjust themselves as they grow, and the bones will also develop slowly. If you feel that your baby's teeth are not straight, you can leave it alone for now, pay more attention to observation, and see a doctor if you feel uncomfortable.

Causes of yellow teeth

1. Genetics

Some children with yellow teeth have parents with unhealthy teeth, and the children have inherited the dental characteristics of their parents, so their teeth do not develop well. If the deciduous teeth are yellow, it may be because the mother did not supplement enough calcium during pregnancy, resulting in poor development of tooth enamel.

2. Food

There are many kinds of bacteria on the surface of teeth. They secrete many sticky substances on the surface of teeth. The intake of colored food will leave pigments on the teeth. These pigments will be adsorbed on sticky substances. Over time, these substances will penetrate from the surface of the teeth into the inside of the teeth, forming internal stains, gradually turning the surface of the teeth yellow or black. Such teeth are called exogenously stained teeth.

3. Drugs and water quality

If a child takes tetracycline drugs during the stage of tooth development, especially children under 8 years old, it is easy for the teeth to discolor into tetracycline teeth. The fluoride content in some areas of the water is particularly high. Drinking it for a long time can easily cause your teeth to turn yellow and become fluorosis. These stained teeth are called intrinsically stained teeth.

This dark tooth pigment is buried deep in the teeth and cannot be reached by daily brushing. Only through special whitening methods can the teeth be reborn.

4. Hygiene habits

If children do not develop the habit of brushing their teeth correctly morning and evening and do not pay attention to oral hygiene from an early age, it is easy for a layer of food residues, soft plaque, tartar and other substances to accumulate on the surface of their teeth. This type of yellowing of teeth is not caused by the teeth themselves, but is caused by not paying attention to oral hygiene.

What to do if your child has yellow teeth

1. Rinse your mouth frequently

If a child has yellow teeth, parents can help their children develop a good habit of rinsing their mouths frequently. This is also an important way to improve dental plaque in the oral cavity. Rinse your mouth promptly after each meal to prevent the formation of dental plaque. However, if your child is in the stage of changing teeth, you should remind him or her not to rinse his or her mouth too hard.

2. Brush your teeth frequently

Brushing your teeth frequently is not only an important way to protect oral health, but also a way to remove oral plaque. Regular brushing can remove food debris accumulated on the surface of teeth, remove debris hidden between teeth, and effectively remove dental plaque on the surface of baby teeth.

3. Use tooth powder

Tooth powder helps relieve the yellowing of teeth, and there will be obvious results after one week of use. If your teeth are yellowish in color, you may need to go to a dentist for help.

4. Ultrasonic cleaning

Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is mainly used to remove dental calculus, which can easily lead to the accumulation of dental plaque, causing gingivitis and periodontal disease. During the treatment, the calculus on the tooth neck and adjacent surfaces is removed, and the teeth will also appear whiter. Thick stains can also be mostly removed by ultrasonic cleaning. However, staining is difficult to remove where there are pits, grooves, or adjacent surfaces on the teeth.
