Baby is very sleepy and can't sleep

In everyone's impression, it is believed that babies are very good at sleeping. However, some mothers have found that their children are yawning but just won’t fall asleep. In fact, at this time, it is not that the child is not sleepy or does not want to sleep, but it is very likely that he is not feeling well and cannot sleep. So, what is the reason why babies under one month old are very sleepy and cannot sleep? To sum up, there are five points:

1. Drinking too little milk or being too full

Don't let your baby eat too much before going to bed. If he eats too much, he will have bloating, and the discomfort will affect his sleep. But he can't eat too little, or he will cry to express his hunger. Therefore, mothers should feed their newborn babies according to the baby's needs. Too much or too little is not advisable.

2. The diaper is wet

If the baby's diaper is wet, if the mother does not change it in time, the baby will cry and refuse to sleep. Therefore, parents should observe the baby's abnormalities at any time. If the baby wets the diaper, they must change the diaper immediately.

3. Inappropriate clothing and bedding

When the child does not sleep, you can check whether the baby's clothes are too tight or the quilt is too thick. These situations will make the baby feel uncomfortable. Moreover, the baby is still young and has not learned to speak, so he can only express himself by crying.

4. Insect bites

If the baby is bitten by an insect or suffers from eczema, he will cry and refuse to sleep because he is uncomfortable and his skin is very itchy. So when the baby is crying, parents should pay attention to check if there are any red spots on the baby's body.

5. Calcium deficiency

If the baby is calcium deficient, the child will not sleep, so parents can make a judgment through trace element testing. If the baby is found to be calcium deficient after a physical examination, then the baby needs to consume more calcium. In addition, babies should avoid calcium deficiency and be exposed to more sunlight, as vitamin D can promote synthesis.
