Ringworm is a skin disease caused by fungi (also known as mold). Pathogenic fungi are divided into two categories: one is superficial fungi, which mainly invade hair, skin, and nails, commonly known as ringworm. Such as: tinea capitis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manuum, pedis, tinea versicolor, etc.; one is the fungus that invades the subcutaneous tissue and internal organs, and the disease caused is called deep fungal disease. Ringworm is common in summer and can be transmitted through contact with people or animals suffering from ringworm and public living utensils. And it is closely related to the body's resistance. Tinea corporis, except for tinea on the scalp, hands and feet, all skin tinea are called tinea corporis. Ringworm that occurs in the groin is called tinea cruris. Tinea corporis presents as erythematous papules and blisters that are ring-shaped or coin-shaped. The edges are distinct and slightly raised above the skin surface. There is a tendency for the central healing surface to expand outward, causing an itchy sensation.

Keeping the skin clean and dry is the basic requirement for preventing and treating ringworm. Keeping daily necessities separate as much as possible is an important measure to prevent the spread of ringworm. When treating tinea corporis, if there is tinea manuum, pedis, and nail tinea, they must be treated at the same time, otherwise they cannot be eradicated. Boiling and disinfecting underwear is also an important measure for treating tinea corporis. Generally no medication is required. If tinea corporis is widespread, griseofulvin or ketoconazole can be taken, with a course of 3 to 4 weeks. Applying compound resorcinol solution, compound benzoic acid solution, or miconazole ointment or clotrimazole ointment externally all have good therapeutic effects.

Considering that it is a manifestation of tinea versicolor, it is recommended to give calamine lotion for treatment and adjust the diet.

The rash on the body is like eczema. It is caused by the young age of children, thin and tender skin, sensitivity, and poor resistance. It is also called contact dermatitis when the skin comes into contact with some irritants such as clothes or eats foods or drugs that are prone to allergies.
