What is the baby's lung-clearing and phlegm-resolving food therapy like?

1. Steamed garlic water: Crush 2-3 cloves of garlic and put them in a bowl. Add a piece of rock sugar and half a bowl of water. Cover and steam for 15 minutes. Let your baby drink the water after it has warmed up.

2. Radish and honey water: 3 to 5 large slices of white radish, 3 thin slices of ginger, and 3 dates. Add 3 to 4 bowls of water, bring to a boil and then simmer for about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove the residue, add honey and bring to a boil. Give warm drink to baby. Radish can reduce phlegm and relieve cough, ginger can dispel wind and cold, and jujube can soothe the stomach.

3. Roast oranges: Roast the oranges over low heat until the peel turns black, and let the baby eat the warm orange flesh. Oranges are warm in nature and have the effect of resolving phlegm and relieving cough.

4: Scrambled eggs with sesame oil and minced ginger: Add a small spoonful of sesame oil, add minced ginger when the oil is hot, then beat an egg and stir well. Eat while hot before going to bed at night.

Tips for clearing lungs and reducing phlegm in babies

1. To help your baby eliminate phlegm, you can let your baby lie on his back on a pillow with his head low and his feet high to make it easier for the phlegm to be discharged. When your baby coughs up phlegm, he or she may swallow it instead of spitting it out. Don't worry, phlegm will be discharged from the body along with feces and will not cause any harm to the body.

2. Pay attention to dietary adjustment, eat less spicy and sweet foods, and drink more water, which can flush the throat and prevent dryness of the throat. Let your baby eat some foods that can reduce phlegm and relieve cough, such as pears, radishes, and loquats.

3. Keep the air in the room fresh, exhaust the kitchen fumes, do not smoke in the house, and open the windows regularly for ventilation.

4. Keep the indoor air moist. You can use an air humidifier.

5. Add or remove clothes and quilts in time. Do not cover yourself too thickly or wrap yourself too tightly, otherwise it will cause poor body regulation ability and low resistance.

6. Encourage your baby to rest more. Excitement or exercise will aggravate coughing and sputum.

7. For children with allergic coughs, dust and cat and dog hair in the home can cause allergic coughs. Pillows, mattresses and quilts need to be exposed to the sun and cleaned frequently.

From the above introduction, we can know that the phlegm in the baby's throat will make the baby feel uncomfortable, and the baby will make a sound as if the throat is blocked, which is very uncomfortable.
