Why does my baby have pain when urinating?

Why does my baby have pain when urinating?

In life, many babies will tell their parents that they feel pain when urinating, especially baby girls. This is because the urethra and vagina of some baby girls are not particularly mature, so they will be infected with vaginitis or urethritis when they are young. If a boy has pain when urinating, it is probably because of the prostate. So what is the reason for the baby's pain when urinating?

The causes of painful urination in women include: 1. The female urethra and vagina are adjacent to each other, and bacteria can easily invade. 2. The vagina is close to the intestines and anus, and many large intestinal bacteria can enter, causing urinary tract infections and leading to painful urination. 3. Although the surface of the female urinary tract is covered with a layer of mucus like a protective film, under normal circumstances, the vaginal mucosa will breed a kind of lactobacillus, making the vagina acidic and inhibiting bacterial invasion. However, when these natural defense functions are congenitally deficient or acquiredly changed, they can easily cause vaginal or urinary tract infections. These changes include: (1) The use of contraceptive spermicides and the abuse of antibiotics lead to changes in the vaginal flora. (2) Tumors or stones block urine excretion. (3) Cystocele causes changes in the structure and function of the urinary tract. (4) Menopausal women lack hormones. (5) Urinary tract instrumentation surgery or catheterization that damages the urinary tract mucus protective layer. 4. Allergies to soap, toilet paper, lubricants, vaginal cleansers, contraceptive sponges or foams can also cause urinary pain.

Pain in the urethra during or after urination is called dysuria. Painful urination often occurs at the same time as frequent urination and urgency. Together they are called bladder irritation symptoms. The causes of urinary pain in children are also very complicated. Common diseases include:

① Kidney diseases such as pyelonephritis and renal tuberculosis.

② Cystitis: such as bladder stones, bladder tuberculosis, bladder foreign bodies, etc. Painful urination often occurs at the same time as frequent urination and urgency. Together they are called bladder irritation symptoms. The causes of urinary pain in children are also very complicated.

Common diseases include:

① Kidney diseases such as pyelonephritis and renal tuberculosis. ② Cystitis: bladder diseases such as bladder stones, bladder tuberculosis, bladder foreign bodies, etc. And both can cause bladder irritation symptoms. ③Urethra diseases: such as urethritis, urethral stenosis, urethral stones, foreign bodies, urethral diverticulum, urethral mucosal prolapse, etc. ④ Diseases of organs adjacent to the urinary system: such as appendicitis, appendicitis abscess, pelvic inflammatory disease, rectal and colitis, which stimulate the bladder or urinary tract and cause bladder irritation symptoms.

Among the many causes of urinary pain, frequent urination, and urgency in children, the most common is urinary tract infection, including pyelonephritis, ureteritis, cystitis, and urethritis. Because of the contamination of urine, the infection is often not limited to one site. It is often accompanied by fever, frequent urination, and urgency. Older children often have back pain, discomfort or pain in the lower abdomen, and pyuria in the urine.
